In the morning of 19 October 2012 Muhammad Mahmud al-Shami, one of the longest and most involved ARCHiNOS collaborators, tragically died in a car accident.

Muhammad brought to our team much more than his worthy talents as an architect, engineer, and manager. We all valued his thoughtfulness, his even-headed judgment, his balanced opinion. We cherished his unwavering resolve in face of any difficulty, his optimism, the bright sense of humour that made his company so enjoyable. We were cheerily looking forward to his upcoming wedding.

He will be sorely missed.
