ARCHiNOS Presents Its Work in the City of the Dead

3 May 2015

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, one of the specialised organisations of the Arab League, is a prestigious technical university with campuses in Cairo, Alexandria, and Port Said. Its department of Architecture and Environmental Design offers courses in historic preservation and adaptive reuse of historic buildings – subjects of much of ARCHiNOS’ work. On 29 April 2015 ARCHiNOS director Agnieszka Dobrowolska delivered a lecture presenting our work in the historic area of the “City of the Dead” in Cairo at the Academy’s state-of-the-art Heliopolis campus. Many thanks to the Academy's able staff for expertly organising the event!
