Museum Designed by ARCHiNOS Opens in Alexandria

After a long delay, the Museum of Arabic Calligraphy, designed by ARCHiNOS in 2009-2010, opened in Alexandria on 22 August. Not surprisingly, the designers were not invited to the opening, and not even notified. However, while the officials of the Ministry of Culture couldn’t muster enough culture, not everybody in Egypt shows equal disrespect for intellectual property rights, as this link demonstrates:
