Vision in Sights

On Friday 7 December 2018, in the maq‘ad of Sultan Qaitbey, the Maghrabi Foundation, the leading private foundation providing eye care in Egypt, offered free eye examinations to more than 150 local inhabitants of the Qaitbey area, which has inadequate health services. The Foundation’s highly professional personnel conducted comprehensive eye examinations including provision of medication and prescription glasses as needed. Those in need of a major surgery have been referred to a Maghrabi hospital to undergo free-of-charge operations. Children enjoyed a creative workshop while their parent’s sight was examined. The event was organised in cooperation with our sister not-for-profit organisation, the Sultan Foundation, which operates the Maq‘ad of Sultan Qaitbey Centre.
