Many people saw the “Sultan’s Fair” on 18 Dec. 2021 as an opportunity to shop for Christmas gifts, so the event was very well attended. The local craftspeople from the Qaitbey neighbourhood and outstanding artisans from other areas of Cairo presented and sold their products in the square in front of the Sultan Qaitbey’s glorious maq‘ad building to a numerous and varied audience.

In the evening, the Egyptian musical trio Accordionella played a concert in front of the Maq‘ad of Sultan Qaitbey, while children enjoyed activities arranged especially for them after an excursion to the Children’s Park.
