The exhibition by the Austrian Cultural Forum Cairo entitled Austria and the Arab World : A Journey of a Thousand Years was on display in November – December 2021 in the ‘Abdin Square Garden in Cairo, facing both the ‘Abdin royal palace and the Governorate of Cairo. It was curated by the Austrian historian Dr Matthias Pfaffenbichler.
