“Austria and the Arab World: A Journey of a Thousand Years” is the title of the exhibition presenting the complex and multifaceted cultural relations between the lands of the Austrian Empire and then the Austrian Republic, and various Islamic lands and empires and their successors in the modern Middle East. The exhibition’s curator was the Austrian historian Dr Matthias Pfaffenbichler.
